And so....I was on TV today!!! *_*excited smiles* _* It was a great first time experience and I'll definitely want to do more shows in the future! :)
The show was aired live and will be aired several times again next week, under the "Christian Connections" segment. Check out Loma Linda Broadcasting Network for the schedule in your time zone. If you do not have satellite cable, it can alternatively be viewed at the LLBN website if you click "LLBN Online" at the right side of the screen. It's a great evangelistic tv that is reaching out to Arabia, China, SEA and the world. Praise God for this ministry! :)

Just before going to the show, I baked 2 kinds of cookies....cheese cookies and viennese whirls. These cheese cookies really melt in your mouth! The viennese butter cookies are crisp and taste like the chinese new year cookies sold at shops.

Ingredients: butter, 250g, icing sugar 75g, egg yolk, 2, salt, 1/8 tsp, flour, 100g, tapoca flour, 200g, grated cheese, 80g
Method: Cream butter sugar, egg yolk and salt well, Fold in flour, tapioca flour and cheese. Spoon mixture into piping bag fitted with a star nozzle. Pipe onto baking tray to form shapes of a rosette. Bake in a preheated oven at 340F for 20 minutes.
Check out the recipe from Cafe of the east... I reduced the amount of sugar to 30g and it was just-right. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.

Hi Cherry,
Thank you for posting the recipe for Melt-in-your-mouth cheese cookies. However, after going through the recipe, I realised you have not put in the quantity for the icing sugar.
Appreciate if you could put it up as I would like to bake this for chinese new year.
Many thanks.
Christina
